Annual Project is to improve Sexual and reproductive health in Dhanbad and Bokaro in Jharkhand and Durg and Basta in Chattisgarh particularly among the low income groups funded by Marie Stopes International.
The ‘Choice’ project in Andra Pradesh is to improve the availability and accessibility to high quality Outreach Family Planning Services with a view to enable greater number of people to have children by Choice, not by Chance.
Two Clinics of PHSI in M.P and one in Chattisgarh have signed the agreement with the specified state government (under the Santushti yojana of the Jansankhya stirtha kosh) for delivering sterilization services at PHSI Jyothi clinics.
Chemists are being trained in certain districts of Madhya Pradesh about reproductive health and marketing of family planning products. so far, more than 6500 chemists have been trained.
PHSI is associated with National AIDs Control Organization(NACO), Department of AIDS control, ministry of Health and family Welfare (MOHFW). Government of India in implementing the “Targeted Social Marketing Program in the high priority district” of various states, founded by Multiple donor partners and Government of India.
