“JYOTHI” Reproductive Health Care Centre’s have been operational since 2002 and on an average serve 1,500 clients seeking reproductive health services each month. The clinics are modelled after MSI Reproductive Choices Centres to deliver affordable and quality reproductive health services especially for the vulnerable and under deserved populations.

Our Community Health Promoters work with the local network as well as the community Influencers to spread the awareness about the clinics and the services available so that the couples seeking reproductive health services have access to the quality services.
All Jyothi clinic centers are accredited by the state government for the provision of safe abortions. They are also accredited under the Public Private Partnership scheme of Government of India for the provision of sterilization.
To make the services accessible to the under-served, PHS India has partnered with the government of Jharkhand for the provision of female sterilisations. PHS India’s outreach teams work with the district authorities to provide female sterilization services at the public health centers. Since December 2020, the Jyothi Clinic Outreach teams have provided 3642 sterilisations through 136 outreach days. These services are provided using the double puncture technique which has been introduced for the first time in the region.
Social Marketing uses the existing techniques and infrastructure of commercial marketing to improve the lives of people, especially the underserved. PHS India leverages existing commercial infrastructure, marketing strategies, and methodologies to reach millions of consumers with family planning as well as sexual and reproductive products and services.
PHS India leverages the existing infrastructure of the private sector to market Family Planning and Reproductive Health products across all states. These products are available in a wide range to serve across economic strata with focus on the underserved and the vulnerable populations. PHSIndia has a two-pronged approach; increase accessibility of quality Sexual and Reproductive Health Products and services at affordable prices and implement demand generation activities through evidence-based behaviour change campaigns.
